what are trolls and gremlins?

Forum trolls and gnomes are actual people who post in threads.  Gremlins, on the other hand, are the little green men who live inside a computer, and make it run.  Sometimes they may go wild, and delete your posts, or cause you to lose a game on time at Live Chess.  Some people believe that the things gremlins do are caused by bugs, viruses, DOS attacks, technical glitches or system operator's deliberate actions rather than actual green men.

One of these days I'll kick the ass of the little gremlin running my network.

Suzanne Pleshette was married to Tom Poston at the time of her death.  He of
course was the handyman from "Newhart".  I thought it was so cool they were
together in their later years.

I think Tom Poston died first, 8 or 9 months before Suzanne Pleshette.  But I agree, it's interesting that they ended up together.  Poston and Bob Newhart had a long relationship, both professionally and as friends, that spanned decades.  But I don't know that Newhart and Pleshette stayed much in contact after their show, so Poston and Pleshette may have just reconnected a couple decades later.

EDIT:  Poston, in addition to the handyman in Newhart's later show, also played the occasional character "the peeper", Bob Hartley's college friend in the original Bob Newhart show in the 70s.

"Hijackus thread trollaceae?"  Is that like someone who talks about Bob Newhart in a thread asking about trolls?

Let's not forget the Fishman(Fisher Stevens) dating Michelle Pfeiffer in the 1980's.  They never married but that was a surprise.  He was great in "Early Edition".   My daughter used to come visit me on weekends and we would watch that and "Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman".  CBS has a bad habit of cancelling my
favorite shows, like it just did with "Numbers" out of the blue.

A troll is someone who posts irrelevant are rude things to provoke people to get reactions, they should be ignored.
