Dr. Sergio Canavero (Italy) promises to do a brain transplant within 10 months in this weekend's National Post.

....now that's cheating death !

I personally will not be offering my brain to anyone after I die....for obvious reasons.

Well, noone in their right mind would want mine, & B, I'm not really using it right now so I probably wouldn't be needing it later on either.

(just thinking out loud)

Do you realize that speed is an illusion, we can't measure speed, a speedometer doesn't measure speed, it measures your "Rate of Change of Position." Death is an illusion, energy can not be destroyed, it simply changes form. Just because we empty a glass of water, doesn't mean the water is gone, in fact we are drinking the same water dinosaurs drank...

Maybe, after the intense excruciating pain, death is great!!!

When I go, I want to go like my grandfather did, in his sleep.....Not screaming and crying like the passengers in his car.

We only see death from our earthly perspective. That is the person has no more earthly worries or concerns or pains or anything earthly. The dead face often looks peaceful. We assume from this that they are at rest, they are reunited with loved ones, they are looking down on us, they are even helping us. Its assumed they maybe playing their favourite game or drinking with their buddies. There are some theories around about existence after death, reincarnation and nirvana. All these assumptions about death are lies! The true insight about death and its consequences is found in the Bible.

For me, DEATH means that I will never again have to deal with an insurance company and never again will I have to choose between sausage and pepperoni on our pizza and never again will I have to walk the dog when it is raining outside.

In my afterlife, I will win all my chessgames and all my sacrifices will be sound ones!

Your tongue in cheek comment is a little humorous. But you either don't know or don't care about the reality of death and what follows that occasion.

Death puts pressure on life.... It's perceived as something horribly painful under most circumstances. Death may be beautiful and kind in the end, but in life... Death is anathema!!
It keeps us alive....
Lbjon
Of course, pain can be so intense... One may yearn for death under extreme discomfort

Great picture.

Death will be a great awakening! All eyes will know the truth about themselves, their life and their fate.
