I was Leica Edit for the Untalkative Bunny TV series. The bad guy was a nasty blue emu. So that's my avatar and online persona.

Mine is a Hawaiian sculpture at the Louvre. I find it adorable, and the avatar size is like 64x64, so it has to be something simple.

Chessman-jwang

I simply picked the knight instead of my face, because the knight is a tricky chess piece, and I find it cool to use.

The major skill thing I've done in the 2000's has been to learn to play piano and pass auditions for major recitals - in my avatar I'm playing Chopin's Prelude in E Minor at the ACE Recital of the Peabody Institute of Johns Hopkins University.  So, since I hope to achieve good things here, I think the piano avatar is a good luck charm.  I've also had piano-playing chess opponents here who discuss piano with me because they see the logo.
