I have watched Naroditsky play at the Mechanics club in SF, and I also have watched Shankland's games with interest. Robson and So are buddies, which might make for a good dynamic.
Who else agrees that Hikaru Nakamura is the best player right now?

But, the point is that Candidates is proving me right, I still believe Nakamura is not top 5 in classical time control, never was regardless of once being worlds #2 or not. He is not even top 5 in the field that is missing Carlsen, Kramnik and MVL, who are definitely stronger classical player than him. And the debate that Nakamura is the best player is actually a joke.

If you're bright enough to be a Texas state scholastic champion as you once claimed, you're probably bright enough to know that. Btw, there's no scholastic state champion with your name that I can find. There's a Jean Garcia who has played a couple of tournaments a couple years ago, but her highest rating was 673. Not 1673, 673.

Listen carefully, I hide my real name to prevent stalkers (SOO many) but I AM a FEMALE chess player from Texas and I have trophies, many of them. I can even take a picture and stand next to them to prove to you, though a hastle since they are in the garage and rather heavy.

To be fair, this is one of the toughest Candidates Tournaments of all time. But yeah, Nakamura's performance looks a bit like Fischer's first Candidates' performance.
For my opinion,someone said that Naka lose to Carlsen is caused by psychological problem, but whatever action paticipated by human,always relate with psychological, so lose and no excues.
