Ponz, I know what you mean but I honestly disagree. I blunder peaces often, ngl. But when in tournaments or actual serious games, what do you do when you are down? You have resigned all those positions when you are worse and you may be lost. Trying to fight back in losing positions is half of chess, it has helped me go from 890-1070. But I guess it depends on what sort of player you are, and you are obviously pretty good

If you lose your queen and keep playing on and your opponent plays very very poorly and then you win or draw--what can you say--what have you accomplished??
You can say "I beat a very poor player." or "I drew with a very poor player."
Much better to use your time to upgrade your play and then you might say.
"I beat a GM in slow chess."
what if you lose your queen but play on and your opponent ends up beating you but in doing so they showed you something that you had never seen before that you can use to bolster your game going forward? what then, professor?
