Why do you download 20+ years old program (approx rated 2300- 2500) when there is 3600 rated Stockfish for free.
With that massive rating difference, chessmaster 3000 need approx x1000 time odds to get the quality of Stockfish.
I mean 1000 seconds of thinking by chessmaster is equavilent to 1 second of Stockfish.
Why do you download 20+ years old program (approx rated 2300- 2500) when there is 3600 rated Stockfish for free.
Playing ability is not what I use Chessmaster 3000 for. CM 3000 comes with loaded features, that's it's hallmark.

You can get pgn export , inport from any GUI such as Arena. And they can offer much more features that you even dont know.
Telling others to use 20 years old technology is like telling them to buy your 20- year- old nokia phone because you dont know how good current iphone/ samsung phone is.
The main reason to get membership is for the lessons! If you are a beginner or master there is really good content that is well presented. Lessons usually have a video (often presented by a GM) and then challenges relating to what you have learned.
Also when you play a game you get analysis after showing your mistakes You can then click to retry parts of the game to improve with better moves.
Totally worth it

So what, I know someone that got an MIT scholarship in MIDDLE SCHOOL
MIT doesn't give scholarships for academics.
My dad wouldn’t give me diamond until I got over 1500 uscf.
However, he was perfectly happy to buy chess books, which I ingested and then I became a 1600 uscf.
Now I have diamond membership, but you should show your parents you are willing to improve by reading the Chess books and stuff first.
