A.In groups how are 960 matches calculated?rating points add to that normal chess leaderboard?

B.Is every forum topic read by staff or just some of them?1%?

kohai. Will matches against groups who have same admin/s be allowed forever? If yes that makes "Match leaderboard" and group points rather corrupt (not to use harsher word). There is a reason why you cant make multiple accounts and play rated games with your self...same goes with groups....you cant play your group against your group and get points for it...(i know not popular statement/opinion but it is truth and i stand by it/her?)

C.Is there going to be done anything about vote chess alerts? So that people are participating in vote chess have easy acces to all their vote chess games?

D.Why is there not a feature in the forums to create polls?

E.Why doesnt chess.com staff makes a list of improvements that they are working on? Why dont they make a list of all suggestions made by members and put a note like-maybe or -not going to happen or -soon or -you are stupid? That way people would know that their posts and suggestions are read!

Č.Can you add "thumbs up" or down button next to posts so users can rate posts of other users? Also spam button?

&.Where can I read difference between groups: members, admins and superadmins? I have basic idea but officail and complete list would be great!

Q.Why is "loading position" circle in game explorer spinning counterclockwise? Just a obsrevation and curiosity.

#.Will this be changed?Big  bug (mistake) in auto start matches : Team A that fills first autostart match can keep filling that match till other team B fills max number of players in that match...This is not how it should work. Team A got better players because they pushed out lower rated players and team B got weaker players because their stronger players didnt have a chance to push out team B lower rated players....

1.Why superadmins cant know who of their admins started;accepted; canceled match, deleted topic etc...?

3.14159. Why is a carrot more orange than an orange?

I try to read through as many as i can when i have the time. Erik, Jay and patzer24 read through them aswell on a daily basis but i don't know the percentage.

Where can I read difference between groups: members, admins and superadmins? I have basic idea but officail and complete list would be great!

Groups / help page :)

Why is a carrot more orange than an orange?

Because the orange is no more orange than a carrot

Thanks for partial answer.

On group help page there is nothing about difference of admins and superadmins....It is old description and I think some changes were made....It is not "urgent" just stuff.

And the rest?A.?kohai.?C.?D.?1.?#.? etc...

Or is lack of answer actually an ansewr? Should I read between the lines?Cry

Well at least I am not alone...kohai got problem with counting  ;)

I understand that some of questions are "little" complicated and "brain trust" of chess.com must meet on secret location to answer them but smileative demands answers and answers he will get!!!

What is wrong with vote chess alerts?

They work fine for me!

Avatar of ilmago

Defacto:

A) chess960 vote chess games give the same number of points for the vote chess leaderboard as normal vote chess games:

2 points in case of a draw, and

5 points in case of a win.

I am not "pushing" just slow day at work so I got plenty of time to, in the words of Monty Python: “My philosophy, like color television, is all there in black and white”

Well, what if we define the color orange to be the color of the fruit orange?  Then it would only be by virtue of some vague similarity to this color that a carrot would be labeled as having the same color.  A carrot would actually be carrot colored, but the two are sufficiently close in wave length that we save notation and simply refer to both as orange.  Anyway, the natural "orange" (aforementioned definition notwithstanding) pigment in foods is beta carotene, and, as one might guess from the name, carrots certainly have more of that than oranges do.  OK, so speaking of orange, how will Holland do in the World Cup?
