Interrupted Connections

Please Chess.Com fix your connection issues. All day during games just as I am about to win the conenction drops. It is more than frustrating. Somebody must have noticed. What is going on?????

It isn't my ISP or cookies. It is your SITE!!!!

Fix this please!!!!

What's more is the board is always blank. I try to play game and it tries to get me to buy a membership saying I can only play one at a time. Yeah right. I am going to buy a membership so I can get booted. Or maybe only members stay connected. Either way the site is bugging.

I also just had a disconnection (6-7 minutes) and lost a game because of it.

During the outage, I tried opening other browser tabs to other sites (google, various newspapers, etc) and they worked fine. I was able to ping www.chess.com just fine,as well as various other places (google again) but wasn't able to ping live.chess.com (resolved to alekhine.chess.com), although it seemes I wasn't able to ping it after the outage either. So it doesn't seem to be a failure of my local internet connection.

Near the end of the outage I tried to open another live chess window and it took close to a minute to start up, which indicates to me that there was a real outage, which, once cleared, allowed this new window to proceed.

there is currently a problem with the internet connection on the west-coast where our servers are located. the greater ISPs are working on it. :(
