They absolutely will refund if you request through a support ticket. Posting in the forum won't normally work.

If you could have payment methods for Indians in google pay or Paytm etc. it would be helpful. people here rarely use credit cards and generally don't signup for perpetual subscriptions to rescind later when not using the website

If you purchase through the app you should be able to I think. It may only work if you have a payment method linked, and not just a balance, since it's a subscription.
