pawn power

I own the book Pawn Power in Chessby Hans Kmoch and worked through it many years ago. More recent books by Soltis and others have gotten some good comments. Kmoch's book uses some strange names for pawn formations that have not stood the test of time, but the information is very good. I will re-read it before seeking another, but on the other hand, I think it is very good to read similar subject matter by different authors to get a better perspective of the overall topic.

I have the book for many years, and it has a lot of dust on it. It is kinda hard to follow for one thing, and I could never get anything out of it that has helped. There are other books I would check into like, Silman's complete endgame course, from beginners to master level! Thats when pawn knowledge really is important.
pawn power, a book by Hans Kmoch. it's another very interesting way to see chess!
