hi, having just joined this site i have come across a minor problem which may be someone can help me with.

i have a laptop and it has a small touch pad which i use to move my pieces around the board, the problem i am having with the touch pad is that on long movea across the board i am struggling to make, ie a1-a8 with the rook.

is there any other way of inputting commands other than using the touchpad?

also i don't have a mouse and my laptop does'nt have the facility for a mouse, many thanks if you can advise me

I have almost zero experience with a touchpad is there but any way to touch the piece then, without dragging, touch the destination square.

rooperi

Dont drag, click the start square, then the destination square.
