The admins are monitoring the spam report thread, so I'm not sure if creating a new thread as well was the best thing to do .
Spamming

I made this thread first, then decided to add the info to the "spam report thread" when it showed up under Most Recent Threads. The spam report thread is still an unofficial entity, by the way, so I don't really consider it the proper channel for reporting spam in all cases. It's useful for the spam bots.
Also, this thread is not just about shutting down Rowsweep, but to discuss this particular kind of spamming in general, since it is not just some bot spamming links...

If we got rid of all the stupid, useless threads, we'd need a new lot of posters to fill the space with something worth reading, or the return of some old ones (trysts/andy/et al).
Anyway, I think it's current site policy to welcome stupidity, so long as it's not prurient or too hostile.

to the OP, would you say the same thing for joinwanu and the stupid poker threads ? mind you though drspudnik doesn't mind calling jionwanu assclown to his face.

" I think it's current site policy to welcome stupidity". You may not be far from the mark. We're losing good people like Steve212000 and NobodyReally. Oh, but we're left with "Chicken Shit", OUPS!, I mean "Chicken Monster" with all his polite, considerate, replies. Let's not forget his cousin, bobyyyyyyy

Yep, looks like their posts all came down...thanks mods . It could also be that Rowsweep is muted and the posts may come back later down the road, but by then at least most of them will have fallen far off the first page.
Yes, Rowsweep posted that "I like onions" thing in every one of those threads...
Can we get rid of this kind of pointless spamming being posted in multiple threads?
rowsweep
i ate a sandwich today and it had onions on it.
i think onions make things taste better
but i am not sure why.
onions are bitter
but most recipes ask for cooked or sauteed onions in the sauces. why is that ?
