Stop playing bullet if you think he's lucky.

Bad idea and not a wise solution Foot in Mouth

Lol bullet isn't like other forms of chess. You're basically in time-trouble from the very beginning.

1. What is your reason for 6.Bg5?

2. Read
The Art of Attack in Chess by Vladimir Vukovic

3. Play 30 minute games or slow chess!  Write your moves down for slow chess games.

Kind regards

I almost made a checkmate my opponent, but I do not have time to do it, because I'm running out of time. He's lucky to have been helped by time.

I dont think that is lucky. I play lightning chess too, and time is one of the most important things. And a normal game have average 40 moves, I dont know how many moves bullet haves but it must be far more then 40, so if you played 22 moves he didnt have luck cos u need to play faster. You played well but only to slow, maybe 2|1 bullet is better for you ;-)

watch my simulation game above, I just need a few moves again to make a checkmate position. Lol.

Yes, I saw it. You was winning and played good, the only -, is the 22 moves. Try to play faster and you will win more. you deserve a higher rating ;-)

Not easy..!
I've play faster (67 moves) than ever,
but I was only able to play draw. See the following game simulation:

He is not helped by time.  He is helped by the fact that you don't know how to manage your alloted time

Bullet isn't about playing chess it's just the time.

Nice notes.Wink

but..
In my opinion, good luck in the lightning or bullet game is a victory obtained due to the time saved by it. On the board, someone said to have been lucky, if he loses the position and quality of the pieces, but won on time.

Luck is more easily explained, especially if the opponent only takes one move to make a checkmate position, and we avoid it, because the opponent has run out of time.

However, I would not necessarily say that someone wins on time because of luck alone, especially if he wins in quality, position, or at least balanced against the opponent.
