One of My Best Yet!
Hi,
Liked your game. I thought your move 13. b5 was interesting, because as a rule of thumb, i try not offer up a half open file for rooks, but your next move bxb5 covered it well. Your opponent made some mistakes towards the end of the game (or wasn't setup well to protect against your advancing pawn). He tried to force a draw, but you protected it well. I'm not an expert, but I believe your opening made it difficult for your opponent play a familiar game. Overall, good game. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks guys! And Rob, I had actually played that move in the HOPES of getting my Bishop involved, because at the time, I had the advanced pawns and space advantage, but very few of my pieces were involved. That move forced the action and cause him to take three moves to move his Knight to attack my Bishop.
that was indeed a very well played game. you stayed offensive the vast majority of the game and didn't make a lot of blunders when your opponent began the prepetual checking. but you missed a killer on move 54. when you played Rd2. instead you should've played Re8+, and then you could've snatch his bishop of the board.
Still, you had the game won at that point, so a missed opportunity like that won't lose the game for you. well played.
DubAce: yeah, I noticed that and I thought I had included it in my analysis, but I guess not. If I remember the game correctly, I had about a minute left, so I went with moves I had thought of before hand, completely forgetting about the fork.
Dingoeytmaybeybi: the game was played live, 15 minutes, not bonus or time control.
DubAce: I HAD included it in analysis, but I had accidentally lost all of it, hence why it's not coming up.
Your opponent was just stupid. He didn't use the 2 place forward in the begin for the pawns. Then you suck.
sporefan_10: in all due respect, of which you have none, my opponent played a standard Queen's Indian Defense. The more popular King's Indian Defense is one of the most successful openings for Black, and Bobby Fischer (was it him? I cannot remember) liked the position so much that he created the King's Indian Attack. You can look all of this up, because (based on your age and abysmal rating) you should learn that there are other ways to defend/attack than just with your pawns.
you destroyed him completely.
i cannot say what move is better, the one when you sacrifise rook for bishop or checkmate . by the way how many time you had for this game?
DubAce: I HAD included it in analysis, but I had accidentally lost all of it, hence why it's not coming up.
no worries my friend. we all miss moves in live games. it's good that you noticed it upon review.
Hello everybody! I am a chess enthusiast who simply loves to play. I am not the greatest player, but I feel like this game I just played was great. Let me know what you think!
