Well said Wolfbird
The Prettiest chess player!

Well najdorf, if this is meant to be a family album, then you are missing grandma and grandpa.
Hahahaha

The correct title should read: The prettiest chessplayer. Which, btw, shows the intelligence of the OP
no it doesn't, all it shows is that English is not his first language

Pathetic is the correct word. Lonely, pathetic men. It is probably the closest you'll get to any "hot" women. Enjoy your little masturbating party.
If you're including me in that scorned vitriol, you couldn't be further from the truth.
It's much easier than you'd like to believe to convert a man hater to the light.

I stand corrected.

Ha! If ogling photos of women are at the top of your "travesties of society" list, life's pretty damn' easy.
I don't think it's all so easy nor as superficial. I'm definitely neither a prude nor a puritan and I think I can understand the appeal to looking at such photos. I also don't think the activity is a travesty or anything on that level, but I do think it exemplifies certain things and perpetuates certain things and the results aren't particularly beneficial. It shows me how males view female chessplayers belying whatever ingratiating words might be spoken and contributes to the validation of such objectification. If I were a chess pro or a tournament player and someone took my photo and posted in on the internet to be scrutinized, I'd feel rather creeped-out - more so than I would attending a chess club which seems rather tame and run-of-the-mill - the days of smoke-filled rooms and good-old-boy type fraternization are about gone. Some ladies, like Kontenuik or Pogonina, freely exhibit their photoshoot pictures which is their choice - though I can't fathom how that advances womens' role in chess - but most of the ladies being ogled here aren't modeling - they are just chessplayers.

I find it hard to understand why a woman would dislike men finding her pretty.
Which confirms the lower than average EQ of the chess community.

Huh? Tell me, Lou...is there anything revelent, helpful, or nice to your remark, or are you just one of those kind of ppl who love the sight of their own
"clever" posts regardless of context?
Great joke. Participates in the miss chess under 30 competition and then comes up with " relevant and nice" and ignorant of the topic...

So the real dudes can have a ball? Miss chess election?

Great one axeslinger, like it! :)
Yeah awesome! Just one question: Does your girlfriend know she is part of a sleazefest? Now that the last picture was of a pornstar?

Sex sells. Look at any magazine rack at your local oligopolist bookstore for supporting evidence.
Same with this thread. Despite it's (somewhat) bad taste, as per @Batgirl's post above.
But this thread is better than all the "Why is there a WGM title" threads. They pretty much suck, unequivocally.

Please remove (immediately if not sooner) all photos of the guys.
I'm not very good at following directions
This is how Chessbase covered women's chess the last decade:
http://en.chessbase.com/home/TabId/211/PostId/4001660
Now that I find a bit bad taste, simply because they usually pretend that they follow women's chess when it has been obvious to everyone that they want to take photos of "hot chicks" and pretend that they write about chess. This thread isn't some chess publication trying to take as many bikini photos as possible, add some sleazy comments to them, and pretend that it is about chess. So I think Lilit Mkrtchian is a good looking person, now back to the comments about why this is BAD :-)
