Mate in 18 for white. White wins.

2. ... b5 (not 2. ... Kf7)

I will not make any king's move before queening one of the pawns.

I bet you ten bucks that i can stop you from queening both of your pawns, standard rules, no joke!!!

I play 3. Kd4.

I say I am going to queen at least one pawn, not necessarily both.

One queen is sufficient material for the win, isn't it?

3. Kd4

3. ... h4

So yes, bet accepted:

You must prevent both black pawns (not only one) from queening. Once I promote a queen, you lose.

You play 3. ... h4

I play 4. Resigns

How do you want to pay? I'm agreeable to a 2 months gold subscription .

I prefer cash.

You didn't manage to queen any of your pawns! I prevented it using standard chess rules, as I said I would.

You lost the bet fair and square.

Pay up!

This diagram symbolizes a penalty kick in football, which Cristiano specializes in.

The king should probably take a running start to spin the pawn (from the d1-square for instance).

Resignation has no place in chess composition, sorry. Therefore you either show the line where you prevent promotion, or pay the lost bet.

Polar_Bear, are you related to Polar_Bore?

I didn't get it.
