Hard for me to relate. I walk a few blocks and I'm surrounded with Chinese, Malay, Indian & western food almost any time of day. I'm so glad I live where I live :-)

Ok some child is going crazy here

I can't say I like Chinese food. Lately they are prone to host typical Spanish bars and restaurants though.

We have tons of Chinese, Mexican, Thai and Italian restaurants here but not one Spanish one that I know of. I wish there were more Indian restaurants here, they make good food too.

I went to a Afghanistan restaurant the other day , they had this bread called potato bread ..Incredible , I would go back for just that , but what was odd, it was like I was in somebodies house , kids running around , people from Afghanistan  just sitting around talking , very friendly , gave me a goat  milk drink that had a real kick , strange place though.

I tried looking that up, really couldn't find anything so I am going to assume that the food was really good.

@ Bunny   You know the Germans have a great dish called Hasenpfeffer. I hate to say it but I have had it a couple of times.

bunicula

I believe kleeloff, another member here, mentioned it before ;-)

bunicula

Maybe I should try it. In one of my many shorter previous lives, I was kenible the cannibal.

shadowcat53

Bunny it's called Bolani , and is a flat bread. Tried to insert a pic , wouldn't work.

---   Speaking of what Germans like to eat, back in my ( much ) younger days I got to eat interesting stuff like blood sausage, head cheese, tongue sausage, pigs feet and of course lots of smoked bacon etc etc.

I really don't give a crap about Kim Kardashian but I think this 9 million dollar jewel heist is a hoax.

She was in a real expensive hotel way up in the air, the bodyguard that normally protects her was not there.

Five clowns in police uniforms wearing masks go to the top of a real expensive hotel and apparently take 9 million dollars worth of jewelery back to street level and they took off.

Btw HessianWarrior you mentioned in a thread that you are an electrician by trade. I spent 30 years on a major railway up here playing around with Diesel-electric locos ( yup it was a rather shocking experience   lol ).
