see, the order of operations is pemdas (parentheses, exponents, multiplication and division, then multiplication and subtraction), parentheses goes first and multiplication/subtraction goes last, meaning that everyone else here is wrong. pathetic mortal

This problem can be easily solved replacing names of variables to ones usually used in Math.
