We as the people, should donate a little here and there to help specific companies find alternatives to using rodents, chimps, rabbits and mice etc. Or at least enourage it.

I quite agree.

Smile, finally someone agrees.

We should strive to do good always no? Trying our best not to hurt anyone or anything living. To be considerate and exhausting all possible alternatives whenever something undesirable surfaces?

I hope your ideals will become reality.

Look we have dominion, we animals, we fightz we kill each other, we work together or we avoid each other, its nature, survival of the fittest.

Testing on mice, rats, chimps, rabbits, horseshoe crabs and the like for the benefit of humans isn't 'survival of the fittest', it's rather abuse of power.

Avatar of Pulpofeira

That is an often misunderstood concept. A disabled person could be the fittest under certain circumstances (obviously his/her disability won't be his/her only feature). What it happens in nature, what is an ammoral scenario, shouldn't be a guide of behaviour to human societies anyway.

Fkey you crazy always I know this. You want to test on people. Test on rat that ruins my neighbourhood.

It seems that it is becoming increasingly unnecessary to test on animals, given more modern methods that are cruelty free and get the same results.

I would like to se an end to animal testing, but big corps save $ by exploiting animals rather than being compassionate and using modern scientific methods.  So we are stuck with barbaric methods.  The consumer has the power to change this; Boycott animal testing products, buy cruelty free, write to the companies responsible, raise awareness.  Easier said than done though as they obfuscate this issue, knowing that the public doesn't like animal cruelty.

Please stop cruelty against animals.

We do not want to prolong our life span at the cost of innocent creatures.

What about clothing? Wool, silk, cashmere, Lamb fur, leather etc. Animal skin/fur shearing ...

= Completely unnecessary.

Exists Purely for profit.

I hate animal testing. I wish there was a better way to do research.

Do you know how many animals are being killed by tobacco companies? They use rats, dogs, monkeys, and others for experiments in order to determine what effect new products might have on humans and animals' organs, lungs. and even unborn fetuses.

I just get furious when reading such articles as this one https://vapingdaily.com/support/animals-and-ethical-testing/

Animals are not our slaves! They are all leaving beings!
