yes, I have and there are 6 types of them namely up, down, top, bottom, charm, and strange.
The up-and-down quark makes most of the matter by forming protons and neutrons. in the proton, there are 2 up quarks and 1 down quark; in the neutron, there are 2 down quarks and 1 up quark. They are bonded by gluons which are the mediator of the strong nuclear force and hold them together. this force is said to be so strong that no quarks have yet been observed outside these fermions (protons and neutrons). If you try to rip apart two quarks then it will generate a quark-antiquark pair which are called mesons if this happens due to the extra energy you are providing by applying force. Anti-matter is just the same as ordinary matter but with opposite charges and opposite spins. These all were discovered in the LHC (Large Hadron Collider) but smashing/colliding two particles at near light speed.

Correct. You are almost fully correct in your explanations of the Quark and who/what found them. Murray Gell-Man found them and he shared the 1964 Nobel Prize in Physics with George Zweig. Due to some conspiracy. Gell-Man was under scrutiny for his lack of evidence supporting the theory of the Quark. Nowadays, we have factual evidence and we can prove that what Gell-Man saw in the ‘60s were Quarks. Now thank you for your time.
