Barbie Girl - Aqua

My high school is a school which emphasizes the art subjects, such as visual art, theatre, and instrumental and choral music. However, it also plays very unfitting "pop" music over the PA system.

However, today's (May 18 2012) song was the worst yet: "Barbie Girl" by Aqua.

Of all the songs ever played (and all of them were very bad [for a classical music lover anyway]), that disturbed me the most. Others in my first period class agreed, including the teacher.

Barbie Girl's voice is so weird - it's like it's trying to imitate the voice of a cute lolita found in some anime (especially Furude Hanyuu in Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Rei).

Anyway, just thought I would share with you.

First of all, that's only one - barely a list.

Second, School Out is about leaving school forever, isn't it? How is that any more appropriate?

A list can contain any number of items including one or none.

First, it mentions 'school'.

Secondly, it reminds pupils that tempus fugit so they should carpe diem.
