You ask the forum if you're a bad person.
The Dog calls you out, and then you say,
"No politics." When indeed, that communism is more about controlling the people.

My jiu-jitsu coach had a record of 3-0 in amateur cage fighting. He spent no time on boxing whatsoever, because he was training with people like Braulio Estima (look up who that is, if you don't know then you don't know what you are talking about. ADCC submission wrestling is the highest level in the world. UFC legends like George St Pierre travel to England to learn their submission fighting) towards being a black belt - which takes up all his time along with coaching and having a family. He wasn't going to go and learn to be a pro boxer on top of all that. Brazilian jiu jitsu blackbelts are about the same level of achievement as chess grandmasters or probably much rarer than that. People travel here from all over the world to learn.
He just put people on the floor and took their backs, then obviously choked them or punched them until they tapped or it was stopped (tapping from strikes is a thing at that level) to win his couple of amateur cage fights against dedicated kick boxers, and primarily focused on his jiu jitsu progression. Amateur fighters are not well rounded at all, and the average idiot (or football hooligan/chav/skinhead or maybe thug/ghetto depending on culture) barely knows how to fight properly. In prison they just use shanks to stab people anyway - not like you get the bloody Aryan brotherhood, Nazi lowriders, Mexican mafia, DC blacks, etc learning proper fighting.
Even other ADCC fighters went into the UFC and won without bothering much with boxing. Palhares heel hooked everybody and was banned from the UFC for life. Again, look it up if you don't know what I'm saying. The excuse was that "he holds on to their legs for too long after they tap out", when the reality is that heel hooks are just notorious for being difficult submissions to do without causing serious harm to the other guys leg. They should ban leg locks then in general and stop pretending that the UFC is mixed martial arts. Anyone who actually knows what they are on about prefers ADCC submission fighting or Glory kickboxing which is the very best of the best. The UFC is for affliction wearing fanboys. The UFC/cage fighting was literally created to be promotion for Brazilian jiu jitsu as part of "the Gracie challenge".
Almost anyone who isn't a retard can throw a punch. Basically all fights very quickly become about grips and the like. Judo is the most practical discipline - more so than jiu jitsu even. It's exactly what I would have any kids doing. Women should do Judo too. It's what Ronda Rousy did, and she's probably the most well known female fighter ever and with genuine talent.
You should just go to a Brazilian jiu jitsu or judo training session, since you have such a keen interest. First session is free, and you have nothing to lose then. Right?
Go experience for yourself.

I'm not the one banging on about it constantly without having a clue. Mindless boring internet troll.

I have a black belt in Karate, so if you want, I can make it 2 =)
We were allowed guillotine chokes and leg locks to a degree. We weren't allowed things like "the twister" which were considered to be outright neck cranks, despite being popular in some circles. Those things are mostly discretionary, and down to the club how the person wants to coach. Sport judo (olympics and the like) severely limited fighting on the ground; we rarely implemented any of that at the club either.
Same reason why I think chess players shouldn't want olympic involvement in chess as much as they do (or any hobbies for that matter).
I like amateur wrestling, but we don't have that in England. Our culture is good for boxing, very good judo history, and very good jiu jitsu.
Only issue I have with the American wrestling is that I think the UFC rules favour it. A guy can shoot for a sloppy single leg, it gets defended, and then he can just lay there having a breather. You aren't allowed to knee him in the head despite him literally laying there right next to your knee and it being the most natural thing to knee him. I also don't like wrestlers who take people down and just laying there in someone's guard in order to win points with the judges. But I haven't watched UFC in ages, so it might be different.
I preferred the rules of Pride FC. I also preferred the presentation. But you aren't going to get knees to the head or soccer kicks to the head in any American or North European company, because the feminists and prawn sandwich brigade won't like it.
Yea no figure no cigar
