do chess.com players find this to be more of a problem of late?

Is it hacking or lag?  Lag is a big issue that makes it appear as if the clock gets time, but is not necessarily hacking.

I had 58 seconds on my clock, my opponent had 3.7 seconds. I made my move, my opponents clock ran down to zero six times, each time remaining on zero for at least two seconds, after my opponent made his move his clock regained 4-5 seconds. this is disturbing, this glitch or cheating is ruining blitz chess, can I contact an administrator? ?

"Your opponent's" clock is really a clock on your computer.  If there's lag, then its not going to be accurate.  It could easily show as going down to zero, even if your opponent isn't taking any time making their moves, just because it is taking so long for the move to get to your computer.

The clock cannot be hacked, it counts down on the chess.com server, atthempting to change its value using cheat engine will not work because the server clock is unchanged.
