Tony Robbins is a walking-on-hot-coals motivational speaker .  Not a news source, and definitely not a scientific authority of any kind.

I warned you about dubious sources the first go 'round of posting you did weeks ago.  This is strike two.  I am trying to keep people from all points of view in the thread as much as I can, but if you can't support your posts with anything reasonable, you won't have a platform here.

did you watch the video nobel price winner doctor michael levitt says lockdown is here fore political reasons so not a dubious resource there  professor joel hay there is no evidence of social distancing working med scott jensen says he is being massaged in putting covid on death certificate Dr Michael Roizen under 60 years without comorbidities chance of dying of corona is less than 0.002 and the artze fur aufklarung are over 300 real doctors who signed a petition that measures to stop covid are overreacted so dont tell me that i dont have good sources cause it are the best doctors and nobel price winners who have a problem about this inhuman way of life we are in clearly you didnt watch the video i suggest you do.

Well I guess you & your You Tube friends are smarter than the rest of us. There's not much left to do than to close this thread down.....throw away our masks, and stop social distancing.  Thank god your here. meh.png

And than he will show us a video with Tony Robbins with thousands of "doctors" telling us that the governments is wrong because they are doing nothing!

I don't need to watch the cherry-picked videos.  I already have read Dr. Levitt's position, which is being exaggerated and exploited here.  Show me Dr. Levitt on 60 Minutes and we'll be getting somewhere.

I, like most people, have limited time to absorb news from around the world on an issue of this scope...so, it stands to reason that if someone posts a video sponsored by Chuck E. Cheese, people are going to skip it.  I have more respect for Dr. Oz than I do for Tony Robbins...and that's saying something, because Dr. Oz is an exploitative sensationalistic a$$hat..

If any of these video/excerpts trickles its way it to a legit news source, let me know.

Wolfbird

I would definitely watch a covid video sponsored by Chuck E. Cheese. grin.pngtongue.png

I didn't actually say a word one way or the other about your internet access.  I asked "Is your internet access solid or spotty?".  No more, no less.  The negative assumption came from you.  I'm actually giving you every opportunity to post something worthwhile about the outbreak here, and so far, it's not paying off wink.png.

You're still posting one liners one after the other.  Second warning.  This isn't Twitter or a texting app.

Some kind of tropical storm is going to hit the gulf coast this weekend. I only mention it because its not gonna help the Covid situation down there. frustrated.png

Wadda ya mean? Maybe it'll blow that nasty virus away! (At any rate, listen to some Jimmy Buffett - that always seems to help).

DiogenesDue

US may pass 2 million cases tomorrow.

So they said face masks were not necessary, now they say you must use them. They said hydroxicloroquine was good, now they say it is bad. What' s next?

I would say that the mask issue evolved from "you don't really need masks but healthcare workers are dangerously short, so stop buying them up" to "now we know this virus is often asymptomatic, so please wear masks to protect other people".

The hydroxychloroquine issue has always been the uninformed "it's good based on anecdotal evidence but have science to back that up at all" vs. the medical professionals "let's wait and see some data...oops, turns out it actually harms more than it helps...see, that's why we wait for studies".

Double oops, looks like HCQ may not actually harm more than it helps. Lancet and NEJM articles have been retracted, and it looks like the HCQ studies will continue. It still remains to be seen whether HCQ does any good, but at least we'll get to finish the studies.

I don't see any retraction of the VA's data, but in any case, the point remains the same...don't tell people to use drugs and say crap like "what have you got to lose?" when there is nothing backing you up.  They stopped Alex Jones from hawking his silver toothpaste, and I think they should muzzle Laura Ingraham as well for her HCQ BS.  It's funny how Laura Ingraham mirrors the role that Jude Law plays in Contagion wink.png...she just needs to walk around in a bubble suit now to complete the image.

I'd just like to see some RCT data for HCQ+zinc to help me decide on the HCQ issue, in case I should ever need treatment for COVID-19. Maybe we'll get that data soon. Regarding the "what have you got to lose" statement - Irresponsible, imho. I think the responsible people who are prescribing HCQ are also doing EKG screens for potential heart issues. It would be interesting to know whether Trump's doctor(s) gave him an EKG or not.

I have no opinion on Alex Jones or Laura Ingraham, as I don't listen to either one.

Geodexic

I heard the virus carrier could get a sudden death while they are in their daily activities.

It would be dangerous if they are driving vehicle. The vehicle accidents could injures the others.
