It's pros and cons are:
Pros:
Prepares to move the King to a safer place.
Cons:
Exposes the King in the very first moves.
Loses castling rights.
Gets behind in development.
Can't control the centre.
Black will have a dominant position.
Your f1 Knight is blocked.
Your pieces might not be able to develop quick.
