Taking into account that there are 100s of billions of planets just in this one galaxy and there are 2 TRILLION galaxies that we can see, let that sink in, then I'd say it's impossible for just this planet to have life. There has to be a lot of planets with life at varying stages of development. Also, the nearest galaxy to ours is 2.5 million lights years from us and the 2nd closest one is 3 million light years from there. The universe is so vast its impossible to convince most people of its magnitude or the certainty of other life.

Unless you believe that our reality is a simulation - in which case, the theory is that we on Earth are the only intelligent life (simulated players) and the rest of the universe is just the external "map".

(I don't actually believe in the simulation theory, but it is sometimes fun to talk about).

In the traditional sense, I would say that yes, there are almost certainly other forms of intelligent life out there.

But with the distances of space, and the fact that our universe is stretching apart at an accelerating rate ... chances are, we will never get to meet any aliens.

(Unless "3I/Atlas" turns out to be something ...)

Avi Loeb thinks so. Also, the whole expanding universe thing is an issue hampering travel unless that crazy theory of worm holes & faster than light speeds has any merit.

They have never lied to the bunny before.

They have also never let the bunny down before.

The bunny believes them and believes in them. Trust and faith are beautiful things.

But the real question is

Yep. A few years ago, I did a news report about Exoplanet K218B. It has all the necessities that we need, so there is probably life there. The prospect of aliens is too broad. It can be literally anything living on a place other than earth. In fact, in this current state, you would be classified as an alien if you colonized it without the planet being informed about it.

I have a strange theory that WE are aliens. We are SO different from every other animal on the earth. It’s like we don’t belong here. We have the power to DESTROY the planet. Seems kind of unbalanced right. Perhaps our ancestors came from another planet. Just a theory.
