The top of the Ridge and ... by the way, I don't think the photos do the place justice- its beautiful!
Fake photos on profiles

to clarify, I'm not saying it isn't against TOS to impersonate someone...
(I just looked it up and it is)...
I'm saying that posting a picture of someone or something else as an avatar is NOT impersonation. if said person were then to use any information that applies to the person in his/her avatar- THEN it probably truly is impersonation...
FWIW, here is a link to the TOS (Terms of Service).
in short, your assumption that the avatar identifies a person is odd. I don't think a chair identifies you. and it wouldn't matter (to me) if it was a rare and prized chair of a neighbor that you hav been coveting for years.
OK, how about posting pics of a model, downloaded from the internet, with the deliberate intention of attracting attention? And then not correcting anybody who assumes those pics are real? You're right that "identity" is not really a matter if appearance, but in this case it has been used cynically to boost one member's profile and popularity.

you HAVE a point. I'm not saying you don't.
but so do I. if she didn't impersonate, and if the pics were not vulgar, obsene, or disturbing- she didn't break TOS. THATS my point. and since she didn't- she shouldn't be warned, or kicked off the site.
In case anyones curious my pictures were of the "alleghany state park" in SW new york. not neccessarily too revealing at all- there's probably half of a million people within a 2 hour drive of that spot.

some threads are weird : they start with topic 1,"" female are really chess players" , for instance, and on post ten you learn "Trump is crap", on post 100 "suicide hand book for dummies", just incredible. OK it was on "off topics". I love that threads, and enjoy serious threads like yours OP. Ty u for having being me not muted, i'm sometimes muted by some OP because ...I stay on topic!!!!
Here it is about pic,( We2 love painting too). K21 is our Batgirl in off topics, an icone we all are in love with. Does it have to be mention on topic here?
You made my day.

If you're looking for serving suggestions, a knob of butter always goes nicely with a baked potato. And I'm not talking Last Tango in Paris style.
