Favorite Holiday Meal

With the holiday season here and so many different countries and cultures
represented here at Chess.com, I started thinking about what foods are your
favorites.
We have the same meal we had at Thanksgiving, turkey and stuffing and ham
and mashed potatoes and cranberries and so forth.
Of course we have pie, mainly Pumpkin and Chocolate Creme and also Key
Lime and Pecan.
And of course there are also all kinds of candy and pistachios and mints as
well.
When I was young my Italian grandfather served Kippers and Spinach Bread, which I still eat to this day.  He also had all sorts of delicious butter cookies
and various pastries as well.
So what are your favorite foods for the holiday season?

Normally we would have Turkey, Pork and Chestnut Stuffing, Roast Potatoes, Brussel Sprouts for DH and Green Beans for me plus Bread Sauce for Christmas followed by either Sherry Triffle or Christmas Pudding with Brandy Cream. However, this year we have decided to go on holiday instead of celebrating Christmas. So I have no idea what we will have to eat over the holidays.

My fovorite holiday meal is the one I'm planning to make for Christmas: Standing Rib Roast, Au Gratten potatoes and Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagass. I'm sure we'll have some kind of pie as well.
