I've been ice skating for around two years now, and I just got a skating membership to take lessons recently. I started the lessons today actually, and managed to get all the way to level 4 in a hour. Does anyone else skate?
I live up north, so skating is a must. Don't really like it, honestly. I don't do hockey or figure skating, so basically I'm just skating around in circles the whole time

I'd say I'm decent too. I've been practicing skating backwards recently,

Nowhere near as good as some of the people I've seen on the rink tho

It's not too hard actually. I started out just trying to walk backwards on the ice

Update: after a break over the winter period, I came back for more lessons. Passed level 5 after 3 weeks

That's cool. I wonder you're level 3 corresponds to my rinks level 3, or if it's slightly higher or lower in difficulty.

Had my first level 6 lesson today. Practiced backwards crossovers, outside three-turns, two foot spins and backwards slaloms, as well as one other thing I can't remember the name of.
