They have a few glitches that the techs are working on. If it becomes a problem your best bet is to post, with screen shots, to the Site Feedback or Help and Support Forums. You'll get noticed there. You're in the vast ocean here and the mods can't get to everyone. It's nothing to worry about. Have fun playing.

I was just playing against the pokamaine bot today when suddenly chess.com started to think I was pokamaine. When the bot was 1 pawn it said I was 1 pawn up. Then the bot mated me and it said I won by checkmate.
