According to research published in Nature Geoscience, human emissions of carbon dioxide will defer the next ice age. Researchers used data on Earth's orbit to find the historical warm interglacial period that looks most like the current one and from this have predicted that the next ice age would usually begin within 1,500 years. They go on to say that emissions have been so high that it will not.

There is considerable evidence that over the very recent period of the last 100–1000 years, the sharp increases in human activity, especially the burning of fossil fuels, has caused the parallel sharp and accelerating increase in atmospheric greenhouse gases which trap the sun's heat.

The consensus theory of the scientific community is that the resulting greenhouse effect is a principal cause of the increase in global warming which has occurred over the same period, and a chief contributor to the accelerated melting of the remaining glaciers and polar ice.

Of course. It's said provoking a huge greenhouse effect in Mars would be mandatory to terraform it, and we humans are experts on it.

Well im pretty sure that it is a cycle and it can be affected by humans however the end result will be the same....

How obviously corrupt can a judge be?

Worst judge EVER!

Wait, it was a jury that aquitted him. What?!

Hmm.... bought and paid for I imagine.  Or are we just cynical!?   

The judge lets him give "evidence" in private? Doesn't that mean that the jury doesn't get to hear the "evidence"? It could be cynical to assume corruption without the exact testimony, but going on the story printed he says that he only used his hand. I assume she's claimng he used his penis. DNA found "inside" her. If she's scamming then how could she know that he had seaman on his hand when he wasn't even sure if he did?

"I'm fragile". What on earth?!

Apparently, he admits he 'might' have penetrated her 'by accident' when he tripped.  Honestly, if a billionaire Saudi Arabian businessman can't accidently trip and rape a sleeping teenager without getting into trouble... it's pc gone mad I tell ya!  Leave the poor guy alone, he was having a hard night.  Bless him!  Thank gawd for those fine upstanding (and possibly much wealthier) jurers who took just 30 mins to decide he's innocent in our glorious kangaroo English courts.
