How do you set a profile picture on a computer?

Go to profile>settings>account and you should see it. You must have a pic that you want to use on your computer already though. Like if you find one on the internet drag it onto the desktop and then you are set. When you click change profile than click desktop, then find the pic and select it.
I've been playing on this site for a few weeks now and so many of you have really cool profile pictures. How do you create a profile picture?
