How many people Think that Life is just a Total Waste of Time in this Endless Universe ?

Assuming, that All things, and even every 'atom' has a minute degree of both sentience and intelligence, {collectively even more so!} - Then my guess, was that their brief 'physical' plane of existence.. was serving, as an indirect witness to, {brace yourselves!}, 'God's Glory-and-unmerited Favor!

Time is a waste of time

Life is not a waste of time because of a simple reason: LIFE  is the only thing we have here.

Chess is a waste of time if you have better things to do at the same time.

If you do not have anything better to do, chess is a nice game to waste time.

The problem is: chess is addictive then you tend to give up other things just to have more time to play chess.

Of course for those who believe in a Creator Being who managed the Big Bang when there was mere emptiness thus made all of the shebang with her own energy know that life is not a waste of time but a chance to be the star of your own movie and when you depart this stage you take with you all you acquired (emotionally, spiritually, mentally etc...) to the next stage or level of existence.

Those who have failed to realize reality will continue to believe that life ends with death and there is nothing more than a black hole of non existence awaiting therein.

Both positions are perfectly fine, right and correct. We will all know it all soon enough.

Life might be a total waste of time, but do we have any better ways to spend our time? If so, please let me know.

Thanks for the posts.   ---   I must admit that I started this thread sort of tongue-in-cheek in answer to the thread that I mentioned in my first post, however one might well be tempted to ask: what is truly a waste of time ?

---   Thanks for the posts.   ---   And so we come back to the question of: what is truly a waste of time ? For example I have a Yamaha musical keyboard at my place. I have made some noises with it ( not to be confused with making music   lol ). Needless to say I was wasting time however when a professional jazz or blues pianist is improvising some music it is not a waste. So where do we draw the line ?

.. And thanks 'btw' for allowing me to feel {for once}.. that I'm an important 'cog' in a wheel!  [ :

Why do you require others insights into wasting time?

Estren

You keep telling people to get a job although you're online all day and don't even play chess. Moron.
