This is why clubs aren't that great. It's just a big power struggle to see who can get SA and drama like that.

Hey guys. Some of you might know me. I'm Hazel, the owner of the club Romantics of Chess. I won this club in a CVC (Chess.com Vs. Chesskid) speedrun to see who could get to 20 members the fastest. Since I won the speedrun, I was given the club United Chess Empire, which I changed the name to Romantics of Chess. Just a little background info here.
One day I opened up Chess.com, and saw a notification from a club I didn't remember joining, so I clicked on it. It was for a club called Velvet Vortex, owned by @Jessica15676. Scrolling through the forums, I found a bunch of forums I made for Romantics of Chess. Then I found an announcement by the owner.
"Good day everyone, today I have come with news I'm officially the new owner of Romantics of Chess which I have changed the name to Velvet Vortex, @Ifyoucouldseethesun transferred ownership to my friend @FrierenFan21 and she transferred ownership to me. I hope you will all enjoy the friendly and safe environment I'm going to make
"Kind regards Jessica"
But here's the thing. I never gave my club away. And if I did, the very LAST person I'd give it to would be @FrierenFan21, since she talked trash about one of my best friends. It's possible someone hacked my account, or that my foster cousin was on here, but for whatever reason, Jessica owned the club and I was demoted. I asked how this came to be in the notes, especially since the only people who I had as SA were @Lilyana, @Scemer, and @Jared. Then, a lot of people, some of whom I considered my friends, started making fun of me and saying I never deserved the club because I left it inactive for a few days while I was adjusting to my foster family.
Jessica closed yesterday (I don't have the details) and the ownership was transferred to @Senna_0-0, who also thinks I don't deserve the club. So I'm going to rebuild our community. Join the new Romantics of Chess at https://www.chess.com/club/the-romantics-of-chess. Thanks guys.
