I think OTF has a problem.

There's definitely lots of people that gain attention due to either there ragebait or there popularity.

Aquemini_444
I believe in quality too
Aquemini_444
I don’t wanna be that kind of person who makes a ragebait post
LilyPaddling
uhm why was my name mentioned liek ten times
Aquemini_444
I believe in quality over quantity, but like there are people yes I understand. There’s some people who are looked at even if they’re not popular, but there are people who have just maybe two posts and that might be good for them, but there are people who want a little more and there’s nothing wrong with that like I believe in what all of y’all are saying it’s just the people who want a little more.
Aquemini_444
Sorry Lily I was just using you as an example. I didn’t mean to like anything to offend you sorry it’s just that you’re kind of popular
Aquemini_444
And I’m sorry if I use anyone’s name it’s probably because you’re popular and I wanted to use you as an example so sorry

It's not that hard to find "success" in otf, all you got to do is sell your heart to the devil :]

Alex-Maths
i think that lily and basix threads are popular bc they are fun threads, and yes people tend to overlook other threads by lesser known people but a lotta other stuff is spam as well🤷‍♀️.so bc of the spam people go to threads by well known otfers
DevinSuckAtChess

Yeah, you need unique threads to make popular threads, reusing isn't the way to go

Aquemini_444
I guess you’ll have point maybe I will
BasixWhiteBoy

I work pretty hard on my threads, usually spending hours writing posts for the community. My posts are a pretty good quality, and they’re worked on a lot before I post them. That, and I don’t post too often (usually weekly), and it’s not spam.

Users whose threads don’t get much attention because they’re spam threads or because they’re not a well known user. There are reasons why threads are popular and vice versa.
