It seems unlikely there is a God, but I can't say for certain there isn't. Religious folks say there is but they don't really actually know either, they just think they do. "Faith" in there being a God is illogical, a word used long ago by men who barely knew much of anything.
I recall there was a study led by a preacher about 10 years ago, he was going to prove there is a God by proving prayer correlates with results beyond random chance. Millions were spent on the study and no correlation whatsoever was found. So it was swept under the rug. If it had shown a correlation then you would hear about it on Sunday mornings, but it didn't so you don't, of course. No correlation found would seem to indicate there is no God, since he is said to answer at least some prayers.
God's name means " The Self-existent One, Who reveals Himself."
You will not know God until you meet him even though you see the evidences of him in creation. But, you will not meet him till you humble yourself to want to honestly find him.
But, Knowing God is not the same as being saved. Many evil men know of God.
Follow Jesus and you will find the truth.

Whatever happened to meeting over dinner? Mr. God is just full of himself, isn't he? Sounds like a self-important loser to me...
From what I can see so far there our three things God does not know. God dosen't know of one person He does not love. He does not know of a better plan than the one He has provided to bring you and I into His Family and God does not know of a better time then right now for you to come to know Him.

Post #134 is a proof that philosophy need input from experiences.And logic is a branch of philosophy,right?.The example of contradiction in logic we could find in einstein special relativity equation.It's equation contain simple addition that was used to avoid velocity simple addition by the observer.This method seems to work.Perhaps there are other contradictions shows by the nature.

And it doesn't matter if you believe in God or not; you are not doomed. Those who claim to believe in God yet make this moronic statement obviously haven't ever really met God.

we should know that it dosn't work that so simple.Sometime many peoples want the same thing.In this case we have no correlation if the number of data sample is not sufficient.In another case it is the limited cause that have to be distributed(determinism).This kind of study will look arbitrarily.Some people found god in determinism and/or arbitrariness.

Many very brave or foolish people on this topic! They are contraditing Jesus clear example and teaching. Have any of them had an unbiased study of Jesus teaching! I think not.

In any case, multiple solutions have been proposed to answer this (reasonable) argument.
An interesting argument can be found here:
"Since God, by definition, is the creator of the whole universe, he is the creator of time. Therefore He is not limited by the time dimension He created, so has no beginning in time God is the high and lofty One that inhabiteth eternity (Isaiah 57:15). Therefore He doesn't have a cause." [1]
This argument seems a bit unappealing, however. The fact is that God could not exist before time in the first place, because without time nothing can happen. On the other hand, God can exist outside the dimension of time ... but this seems highly improbable.

Since we live in a universe of cause and effect, we naturally assume that this is the only way in which any kind of existence can function. However, the premise is false.
