I'm guessing the old fashioned "by a window" routine doesn't work because they're not getting enough sunlight in Alaska? (or wrong angle, or tainted by Russia in his parent's backyard?)
I recollect an episode of Northern Exposure where they had to do an intervention on one of the characters 'cause he was abusing his UV-light glasses that he was prescribed for SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder).
Ah... Northern Exposure... that was hilarious. It was either light therapy or a hospital stay... he was very jaundiced... more than sunlight could correct. But perhaps it is because we're so close to Russia... lol.
It's the llama llama and the mama llama... my daughter likes llamas. Anna Dewdney wrote a series of books about a baby llama and his mama... I've been reading to my grandson... he likes!
