Ever since multiversal peace was brought about, life has been relaxing. Too relaxing. 

Want to relive the fun of expecting reality to collapse? Well, with these high-tech VR headsets, you can do exactly that! Hop into the world of (insert cool name here) and battle it out against hordes of enemies as you seek to outlast your fellow players. 

Breaking the immersion for one sec to explain PMs and LFA. No attacks on other players may be done by PM. If such a move is attempted, it will be restated by me in the forum. Thus, LFA is not necessary. Fights will be based on skill, rather than remembering to say an acronym. 

However, any other sort of PM is permitted, such as moving from one place to another, killing an NPC, or making a purchase. Do note however that PMs have a low priority - I will always check posts in the forum before PMs. 

Alright, back to it. 

Basic Rules

The games plays like nearly every single other traditional survival KOTL game. Hordes of enemies will arrive periodically after a set number of player actions, or until the enemies of the previous wave are dead. The objective is to survive against these foes for as long as possible. The winner is the player who manages to survive the longest. 

Every four waves, an unusually large group of foes will arrive to try and kill you, accompanied by the sound of air raid sirens and a vessel toting a flag. Have fun with that. 

Map

The general area is mostly flat terrain, perfectly made for a game such as this.

To the north is a rather dark forest, where you enemies will (generally) come from. With an axe, a person could get virtually unlimited wood. 

To the west is a small hill. At the top of this hill, you can see the entire map. People at the top of the hill generally have an easier time defending those below them. 

To the south is a blacksmith's, where you can make use of upgrading. For a decent amount of gold, items can be upgraded, increasing their effectiveness. Upgrading the same item in succession will cost increasing amounts of gold. 

As this is virtual reality, there is no need for a physical shop. You may buy what you please wherever and whenever you choose!

Economy and Items

The unit of currency in this game is gold. Gold is obtained from dropped enemies, and if you kill a player, you gain all their gold. Gold is not an inconvenient physical substance, so it cannot be stolen by enemies or other players without your own death. 

Items may be purchased with gold, and you have unlimited inventory space to hold all your items. Nearly anything that your heart desires is available, from sharp sticks to nukes to golden apples to the Saw to time rewinders. Simply ask if an item is available, and a price will be given for it.

Give in the format (name) (gold dropped on death) - (description)
