Light vs Dark mode.

On chess.com in themes, you can choose if you want light or dark mode. Everyone's profile's that I have checked are in dark mode... is that just because the dark mode is preferred, or is it because you just always see dark mode on other people's profiles? 

Which do you use or prefer? And what do you think?
