New Username Etiquette Policy Proposal

I think that the site should make a rule that if anyone is going to have numbers in their username, it has to a prime number. My username not only has all prime number digits, but the 2,357 itself is also prime! I see so many user-numbers here that are one away from a prime number, sometimes in both directions, so I'm like why don't you just change it by 1 in either direction so it can be prime! What's your opinion on this?

You put 9 question marks at the end of that sentence. Do you think you can change it to either 7 or 11? Thanks!

@EndgameEnthusiast - we´re gonna get some pretty long names with 7 million members. Could you write the 7 millionth prime number as your answer here please?

Avatar of EndgameEnthusiast2357

1st of all members don't even need numbers. 2nd, they could easily use the same prime number as a million other members by just slightly altering the words in the username. 3rd, they could also duplicate the same prime number multiple times in the username, or use multiple prime numbers, as long as the 2 numbers are separated by at least 1 letter (otherwise the entire sequence would have to be prime).

Since you asked, 179,424,673 is the ten-millionth prime number, couldn't find the 7th. 9-10 digits ain't that long!

Must be agony for you to have to play on a board with 64 squares happy

Well any board with rectangular dimensions, by definition is not going to be prime as the number of squares is the product of the dimensions.

Obviously. I was just commiserating.

The prime number rule should be taken to the site staff for consideration.

You don't have numbers in your username, so what's the issue?

What a relief, I thought maybe the staff deleted it cause they disagreed with it or something. Got error 404.
