Number of possible opponents

I just played a live game with a member of my chess club. It was unplanned, just a coincidence. Where can I find out how many possible opponents we each have within our rating? I'm thinking the odds are low of randomly playing someone we know let alone someone we see on a weekly basis.

If you go to the global stats of any rating pool you can see how many players are in each rating band.
