Getting married is just not a human being's best moment of rational thought. It's more like one of their weakest moments. It's perfectly understandable to have weak moments of rational thought, clearly, but marriage is one of those uncomfortably irrational moments in people's lives. Have you ever had those times where you're speaking to a person but they aren't really there and in their place is what their husband thinks? It's very uncomfortable. It's like two people have announced to the world that they've decided to go insane together
