OTF and my thoughts on its problems.

Note I: Was looking through 2-3 pages of OTF and I see minor improvements. Very minute, but imo more, err... useful forums are showing up so that's a plus! A downside is that brainrot/slop forums are still being bumped, seemingly by the same 5-15 people. From time to time I see a 'new' user commenting in every forum and most of these 'new users' solely interact with 2-3 forums after onset. Most behavioral patterns among OTFers indicate that they are still, well, rather immature, but it seems to have improved, albeit slightly.

What brainrot slop

The 'kiss, slap, marry' post has re-emerged, alongside a 'I want a girlfriend' post among a couple of others. You can go look for yourself and you find a couple on each page. On a side-note, I noticed something that seems rather chapter-worthy, so I may or may not post a chapter in the coming days (if I can remember).

They will always be there, but as long as there’s not many of them, it’s fine.

After mulling it over, I decided to do a nice little experiment. Mostly positive feedback during the experiment and I've gotten conclusive and sufficient data. Next chapter will be positively posed, but the one after that will be a negative one. I'd like to thank everyone for your continued support/following this forum/etc and chapters will start coming sometime next week.

Kind of proving my point here, bud. At least take some time to read before passing judgement on something. Of course, you may be incapable to read past 4 sentences seeing as all you did was make the comment 'boring' rather than elaborating or giving me any form of feedback. Considering you blocked my alt for nothing, I'd be inclined to believe that you reject others opinions without even hearing them out, so just carry on then.

I have to admit that my OTF Out of Context forum is a little bit lazy, and I don't entirely understand why it has over four thousand comments. Although, I've even gone as far as making a leaderboard tracking how many comments have been taken out of context, so I've tried to put some effort into it, especially since I had to do it all manually.

The Astolfo thread clearly has a lot of effort and passion written in the first comment, but after that... Uh... Let's not mention that...

The looking for girlfriend threads are most certainly slop, this is not an e-dating website!

The "Person Above You" threads is the true OTF slop.

The OTF Freaky Ranks is essentially OTF Out of Context, but reserved for the extremely freaky comments. (I've specifically requested to not be on that leaderboard)

This is just my opinion, coming from someone who has spent her time in OTF for around six months. And no, I'm not offended that you called my forum slop, I can take the criticism.

Let's add this one to the slop bucket...

Look, I've been interacting with you for a while and have combed through both OTFOoC and OTF:FR and they aren't slop. I get that now. Before, I thought pointing out that kind of stuff conceptually would be odd, but yeah I know it's just a joke now. The only reason I'd labeled it slop prior was because of the titles and the first 3 pages, which had les than nice stuff, but they're all supposed to be jokes, and I didn't catch that. That's my bad. I take back my statement, but I won't edit the original comment so that people can see that I make mistakes too. The whole point of this forum is to point out mistakes and try and help guide people to not making them again.

A friend in my middle school had a mullet. He wasn't that big of a thinker. Never mulled over anything except if he should change his hairstyle; he never did.

Scratch my "not editing" thing. I created EDIT 2 in bold at the bottom.

Nobody has ever accused the bunny of thinking. Big or small.

Aren't all forums unnecessary, especially those with questions that already have answers? This is simply a place where I can discuss my thoughts with others. If you find that unnecessary, that's you, but I quite like doing this. Helps me shape myself and mold my perception of things over time.

If it doesn't think, than does it know? From birth, does the bunny have pure instinct in everything in the world around it? The bunny has to think, for if it doesn't, it will never know.

It's all good, I'm not mad at you! I actually agree with a lot of your statements too. It's mainly the freaky members that could possibly give OTF a bad rep (no offense to them, of course.) I'd say that I am a very balanced member: freaky yet normal, brainrotted yet intelligent (to a degree), sensitive yet understanding. The biggest problem that I have is my self-loathing. I rarely celebrate my accomplishments, and I often mentally bash myself out of guilt.
