I see no proof of a transcendent Morality. I see assertions by religious adherents. Fair enough. But transcendence? All I see are competing claims.

If I'm not a nihilist, I would still argue that religion is bad. Religion killed more people than Hitler did. Religion kills a lot of people every day. I've seen religious fanatics killing people just because the other person follows a different religion. What makes religion good? What exactly does it do for humanity?
