Such sad news...... shared a few groups with him, a very nice guy. RIP

I miss Steve. We shared our tastes in music and chess. He was more knowledgable in both.
When I was hospitalized in October, I got a pneumonia immunization.
He was a kind warm presence in here. Always ready to help.
I bet he's playing chess with Terry on a big cloud.

I know... i was on my other account and was looking at this pic he sent me... its so appropriate for him now. We always kept in touch in there. i loved this photo. Latelt there were a lot of people driving him crazy the last few months in here and he would vent to me. and i would eventually be on and see it.

I Just found out that NDsteve passed away recently and decided to create this forum for those of us who knew him to pay our respects. He was a wonderful guy and an awesome chess player. He was loyal, had integrity and was a good man. Although he had Liver Disease( quite advanced) That is apparently not what killed him. He had been in and out of the hospital the last few months and appearently caught pneumonia. He was a good man that will be missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. You will be missed by many.
