For almost any ailment, I would prescribe the following: get plenty of rest and sleep, stay warm (make a point of it), consume water, tea, fruits and vegetables, maybe some chicken broth, and be patient. I bet you'll be as right as rain in a week, no matter your ailment.

My friend online she had some throat sickness, she was out of work for a week or so. She told me the name but I forgot, although it could have been strep.
