I've heard this argument from the other side as well. I wish this conflict could just end and everyone can leave each other and their opinions alone.

Anti-Zionism is not anti-Semitism. By trying to take Gaza and the Westbank the population is being systematically oppressed. The response to systematic oppression, which can only be upheld by violence, is violence. An analysis is not a justification. Violence should only be the answer to the smallest possible extent, but Israel does not adhere to this concept either as it does not rely on the targeted use of special units.
Terrorizing the civilian population with bombing campaigns is not justified, every true Jew agrees. To claim that the Jewish mission is to maintain the Israeli state by all means is inherently anti-Semitic.
