Taken out of Context

It has come to  my attention today that a player here, [Name Removed], after hearing me say in Live chat that I hate black, in reference to playing chess, has gone to an anti racist site and reported me as a bigot/racist, which is completely ridiculous.

I was only referring to how I play chess, badly as black! I am a little stronger with white. My openings with black are not solid, but with white a little more solid.

Posting this in case anyone else took what I said out of context, way out of context!

I am one of the least racist people you will find and I always blast people in Live when they  make any racist comments.

So mr [Name Removed] , who refuses to believe me, have some  intelligence please and try to see what I said for what it really is. And am asking  you again, to please go to whatever site/sites you posted your false accusations on to advise them it was a complete misunderstanding, because it was.

Now why would I care or go to this bother to say I don't hate blacks publicly if I was willing to say I did hate them publicly? That would make no sense. Show us you can understand sense and logic please.

Only reason I  have gone public with this is because I tried to get action privately and he is not being reasonable or even trying to understand the situation.

I am sorry this happened to you, by the way. People can react very quickly once a word triggers their amygdala. And, unfortunately, it is way too easy and quick for someone to react emotionally on a public website.

I have followed your comments and attitude towards people off and on since I have been on this site, and I have to say that I have only noticed you being good natured towards people, respectful, and generally cheerful. I believe what you said and I trust that would be true of the majority that reads this.

I don't really care what he thinks about me, but to slur my name in another website I do care about.

If he doesn't want to go and retract his comments or advise it was taken out of context then at least tell me what site so I can go and tell them myself.

I suppose according to your all-inclusive logic, it would follow that none of the "quite a few really nice people as well" would like each other, as "no one likes any one there."

I would imagine that if Babs visited here she would not have the same experience as you have had. I think your all-inclusive categories are causing you to create unnecessary conflicts where you travel. 

Who asked you to come to America? I have a feeling you were treated better here than I would be treated in your country. I know for sure the "PC" in your country has more serious consequences than in does here.

This is a false statement. Some of his harshest critics are in his own party. However, I would suggest that much of the opposition to President Obama is racially motivated.

Maybe he only said that he reported you to get your goat. Do those kind of sites really exist? If anyone can make accusations without evidence, who would believe the things that are on the site?

bottomline is just publicly stating myself here what I meant.

His opinion matters not to me... what he says privately I can  brush off.. but slandering me  publicly with false accusations calls for me to speak out and say what my beliefs are.
