I agree. They also talk about 'English culture'. As a working class person my culture has no similarities with those at the top, or attitudes for that matter. I think they're the same wherever a person lives, a persons class, not nationality is what defines them.

When you say WE, you are speaking collectively........on behalf of and for more than one person. Obviously there is a third party involved which you yourself have injected into the conversation. Safety in numbers.
From what I know of people here they are quite capable and prefer to speak for themselves as individuals. I actually respect their opinion even though I may disagree with them.
