So? some 1100s might know it, and some 1300s might not. The greek gift isn't a turning point between those ratings.

i dunno, he/she just took it and played Kg8 which almost always loses immediately. They could put up a better defence if they went Kg6 (which is still losing, but who knows, people make mistakes)

The Greek Gift is something you have to know (unless you're Capablanca). It's like a gambit. you have to know the moves. A 2000 could not know the Greek Gift and a 600 could
